Sittin around on a rainy sunday wondering if anyone has a rough idea what it s going to cost to have voltage regulator replaced on 2014 chief vintage at indian dealer. 42 amps x 12 volts 504 watts the reason the voltage regulator puts out more that 12 volts is it takes a certain amount of differential voltage to be able to put a charge back into the battery. Problems with this unit are not uncommon on indian bikes. I think i read somewhere it s under the seat.
